Is this toolkit for me?

This toolkit is for you if you manage or help manage HIV prevention programmes at a national or subnational level—whether you work in government; the private sector; a nongovernmental organisation (NGO); or another civil-society organisation, including organisations or networks of key populations or young people.

Young advocates, collaborators, and implementers will find many of these resources useful. Some of these tools are specifically youth-friendly. If you are a young person looking for resources geared for you, look for the YOUTH FRIENDLY tag at the beginning of the summary.

Most resources are in English. If translations are available, they are listed with links below the entry.

Note: Some resources are listed in several categories, since they meet more than one need.

Who are the partners and networks who collaborated on this toolkit?

This AYKP toolkit connects users to a global network committed to the health and wellbeing of young people. These tools were honed through results-based programming, innovative teamwork, and collaboration with the populations they were designed to serve.

We appreciate the broad range of partners who developed and delivered these tools—whether at the global, regional, national, or community levels. Partners and networks that developed each tool are linked below the tool.

In addition to these specific tools, the partners and networks who participated in creating this toolkit are, themselves, valuable resources with additional assets to help implementers scale up programmes to reach adolescents and young key populations. Please access their websites for more information.

What are the gaps, and how can I contribute?

This toolkit is an evolving resource. Some of these resources do not address adolescent and young key populations specifically, but they are still relevant and can be adapted to local contexts. And you may have tools or know of tools that you think should be included.

Please provide feedback by filling out our survey based on your experience using the toolkit. This will allow us to make improvements and ensure that it continues to respond to emerging needs.
