Bertha is living with HIV and recently lost her oldest son to tuberculosis. But she also recently gave birth to Tecla, who, thanks to early testing and adherence to prevention of mother to child transmission, is free of HIV. Here, Bertha, bravely shares her sorrow, her joy and her hopes for the future. The story of integrated services is a simple and integral element of keeping people on treatment. Mothers and babies like Bertha and Tecla, and partners like PASADA, are building an AIDS-free generation.
