CHAI Site Selection Tool

The CHAI Site Selection Tool is a decision-making resource designed to assist national stakeholders in selecting the most appropriate point-of-care (POC) products and sites for early infant diagnosis (EID) and HIV viral load (VL) testing. This Excel-based tool enables countries to analyze various factors such as cost, geographic location, and throughput to maximize efficiency and patient outcomes. The tool facilitates data-driven decision-making in product and site selection, supporting national program objectives in diagnostics, and is intended to be used in collaboration with Ministries of Health and other key stakeholders.

Connectivity Brief for POC

Decentralized diagnostic testing using point-of-care (POC) or near-POC platforms can significantly improve patient care by expanding access to critical diagnostic services, reducing result turnaround time (TAT), and improving linkage to care.
